I make tables, desks, built in furniture and even walls using materials like Oak, Ash, Brass, MDF, Mahogany, Steel... And I am always on the look out for fresh and innovative ways to use the latest furniture construction technologies.

If you have a design you want realised or need me to help you create something unique, send me an email or give me a call on 07719002932.

Your design process will begin with a consultation on site to determine what the piece will be used for and where it will reside. It is important to know how much wear and tear the piece will experience in its home. We will discuss materials, joinery, hardware and the estimated price.

I will then produce some sketches and CAD models of your piece to allow you to visualise the furniture more easily, this is where one or two revisions can be made (changes potentially impact timeline and cost), we will draw up a signed agreement for a timeline and the final cost.

We can communicate easily through phone or Whatsapp where I can update you with images of the work. I can also create a short movie to show the entire build process for an extra fee.

Before work commences I expect 50% of the agreed price as a deposit.

I offer guidance on the proper care and maintenance of my work in the form of a customised after care leaflet that has information about the recommended cleaning methods, protective measures, and potential limitations of the materials used.

Why "Brass & Bark"?

For me, the man-made brass alloy represents durability, strength, and precision. It has a warm, golden hue that can add a touch of elegance and sophistication to a woodworking project, especially with darker woods.

Bark represents the natural and organic aspect of my work. The bark is the trees armour, its defense against the world and brass armour sounded good to me!

Brass & Bark is a fusion of the man-made and the natural that combines to give a sense of strength, elegance and durability
